Lionfish Cyber Security
Overview
Problem The DoD faces a shortfall of 28,000+ cyber professionals — a direct threat to U.S. military readiness. Critical missions, networks, and weapon systems are exposed. Without trained defenders, adversaries can breach systems faster than we can fill vacancies. This is no longer a hiring issue — it's a national defense emergency.
Solution Lionfish trains college students in CMMC/CCP, deploys them to help DoD contractors meet compliance, then transitions them into DoD cyber roles — closing the talent gap and securing the supply chain.
Field Validation Pilot at Ball State and Production currently at Northern Virginia Community College. Students completed CCP certification and will support live CMMC compliance projects for DoD contractors.
Technology Maturity TRL 7–8: Platform and model actively used. Students perform real documentation, control implementation, and walk-throughs.
Strategic Advantage Patent-pending AI training, GRC platform, community talent pipeline, and “By, With, and Through” deployment — unmatched in scope and integration.
Go-to-Market Access University pipelines, primes, DIU, AFCEA, and outreach to USINDOPACOM J6/J8 and DoD cyber workforce leads.
Dual-Use Potential Expandable to energy, healthcare, education, and critical infrastructure.
Team Jeremy Miller (Green Beret, IBJ Tech Exec), Dr. Diane Janosek (former NSA exec), Dr. Shadi Jawhar (CTO).
Competitive Edge Others offer tools. Lionfish offers both tools and builds the people who defend the nation.
Primary Users USINDOPACOM J6/J8, cyber workforce PMs, supply chain officers, and student Cyber Sentinels™.
