Overview
Problem sUAS are the deadliest weapon on the modern battlefield and increasingly impervious to EW and other non-kinetic defeat methods.
Solution A low cost, mini-CUAS AI Rocket Interceptor designed to kinetically defeat Group 1 & 2 sUAS. Interceptor leverages COTS components and on board edge AI for autonomous targeting & engagement without relying on GPS or RF emissions with a modular payload capability.
Field Validation Pre-Field
Technology Maturity (TRL) TRL 5, prototyping and 10 non-field flight tests with core technologies demonstrated.
Strategic Advantage Timing edge as well as team experience in developing COTS based missile enabling ultra low cost, currently integrating with unmanned platforms.
Go-to-Market Access Applied for Direct to Phase II Open Topic SBIR with letter of support from AFWERX. Working with DIU OnRamp Hub and in discussion with Army DEVCOM.
Dual-Use Potential Can have a modular payload including a low collateral defeat payload to protect critical civilian infrastructure.

Competitive Landscape Startups and incumbents are focused on short range (gun based) kinetic defeat solutions as well as expensive, longer range interceptors. We target sUAS in the range between guns and existing, expensive, longer range systems with an ultra low cost solution.
Primary User Infantry, security forces, and any other combat role that could be vulnerable to sUAS attacks.
User-Critical Problem Outside of extremely short range engagements, there is no reliable way for individual infantry units to kinetically defeat individual or swarms of sUAS.
